Lurinda Maree
Industrial Psychologist & Applied Theatre Specialist
Lurinda Maree (PS0114391) completed her B.A. Drama Hons at the University of Pretoria in 2003 where she specialised in Theatre for Development: an approach which applies theatre to socio-political -and educational contexts to evoke change and/or to stimulate dialogue. She then embarked on a qualification in Human Resources Management and Industrial and Organisational Psychology. She completed her M.Com HR and IO Psychology at the University of Pretoria in 2010 with a dissertation entitled “The individual’s Experience of Industrial Theatre: An Exploration”. Lurinda published an article based on her research in the January 2010 issue of HR Future Magazine entitled “Put Diversity Centre Stage: Use Industrial Theatre to Change the Way your People Think about Diversity”.
In 2011 Lurinda registered as Industrial Psychologist at the Health Professions Counsel of South Africa (HPCSA). She is also accredited to do the MBTI Personality Assessment and qualified to assist in Assessment Centres.
Lurinda worked at The Learning Theatre Organisation (Pty) Ltd, an Industrial Theatre Company, from 2007
until 2010. In the same year she joined Holistic Human Resources, a Management Consulting Company where she specialised in Change Management. In 2015 Lurinda started consulting independently and the focus shifted to her passion for individual- and systems restoration on conscious and unconscious levels.
Lurinda provides, coaching consultation services and specialised services in the context of employee wellness.
Her approach combines psychology, system psychodynamics, humour and applied theatre.
