Scholar, lecturer, professional speaker and workshop facilitator, Elri has been lecturing, mentoring BA level students, and moderating dissertations at the Tshwane University of Technology for the past 6 years. Her critical and creative thinking, active research in the field, learning and devising in a praxis environment has enabled Elri to excel in her academic profession. Elri’s Masters (Cum Laude, from Tshwane University of Technology, 2016) titled: The Portrayal of Emotion through Nonverbal Communication has positioned her to apply this research in the corporate environment within a multi-cultural South African context. Her research on neurological, psychological and biological emotional reactions within a behavioural framework not only enhances our client’s emotional awareness, but also improves their behavioural communicative impact power. This psychological and behavioural communicative impact power is further integrated with her studies in anatomical speech production and physical movement training as she earned her Performing Arts degree (Cum Laude, from Tshwane University of Technology) in 2014 and a National Diploma in Performing Arts in 2013. In 2018, she obtained her PGCE from (Unisa). Elri’s experience in researching, teaching and lecturing in the highly specialised field of non-verbal behaviour, biological emotional stimuli, anatomical voice and speech over the past 6 years brings an exciting dynamic and level of expertise to the team of specialists at the IE Group.
