At the most basic level, Psycholinguistics is known as the “psychology of language”, meaning the study of the mental aspects of language and speech. The primary concern here is the ways in which language is represented and processed in the brain – something which differs for each one of us, based on our background, education and general understanding of language and how to use it. Our knowledge and skill regarding language combined with underlying psychological perceptions determine the way we communicate and the way we perceive communication from others.

This module is designed to improve your ability to communicate positively and powerfully and to ensure the desired outcome, whether it be professional, social or relational conversations. Not only is it informative, but it takes you through practical exercises to help you build your communication skills in a persuasive and diplomatic way.
