Welcome to the MY Pocket Coaches’ Strategic Image Management e-Learning Course! Strategic Image Management is a composite issue forming part of a holistic approach towards the way in which you communicate.  Everything about you speaks – your body language, appearance and your voice. Strategic Image Management is the essential tool needed to achieve success both professionally and personally. It also implies a proactive approach in projecting a desired image, service and behaviour of an individual in an organisation. Therefore, this Strategic Image Management course focuses on providing you with various insights, tips, and techniques to manage your image strategically and establish your brand. The course is divided in to 6 Units which will focus on the following skills:

  • Unit 1: The Primacy Effect- In this Unit we will discuss the impact which our Personal Branding, Primacy Effect, and Enclothed Cognition have on our overall behaviour leadership presence.
  • Unit 2: Style and Proportions – Female – This Unit will focus on the five primary body types for females and their different style tips and characteristics in order to help female professionals look fashionable and elegant according to their height and shape.
  • Unit 3: Style and Proportions- Male – This Unit will focus on the five primary body types for males and their different style tips and characteristics in order to help male professionals look fashionable and elegant according to their height and shape.
  • Unit 4: Psychology of Colour – Understanding the ideology of how colour can have an immense impact on our psychological, physical, and behavioural responses. This Unit also focuses on how a business owner, leader, or professional can use colour to impact sales, employee satisfaction at work, staff mood, and build rapport, negotiations, and a leadership presence.
  • Unit 5: Accessories – Understanding how fashion accessories can enhance your professional impact power and how they can not only elevate your personal brand, but can also be used as a powerful strategy to influence others.
  • Unit 6: Digital Dress Code – The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered the acceleration and expansion of South African business in terms of digital branding, advertisement, e-commerce businesses, and online meetings. Therefore, this Unit focuses on how you can enhance and establish your digital brand through dress code to ensure that remain professionally dressed whilst conducting business meetings online.

All six Units include their own training material, educational videos, and activities and assessments to assist those who want to enhance their overall personal and digital brand.
