A perfectly timed Love Your Produce Manager Day
As an essential service our produce managers are working hard to keep the shelves stocked, sanitised and safe for South Africans. They are playing a big part during lockdown, making sure that we can still find fresh produce and essentials.
This day was initiated in 2012 celebrating the work they do to bring us the best of the world’s produce straight to our storefronts. As shoppers we will rarely come into contact with these managers who are responsible for choosing the perfect selections, from around the world, to make sure that we can find our favourites at our friendly grocers!
The next time you enter your grocery store we urge you to appreciate the choices that we have, notice the care that goes into placements and presentations of produce and to be thankful for the people who keep our shelves stocked even during a world pandemic.
